Is it possible to have this app for the android?
Hi Steph, thanks for your interest in Snowchime. At this time, we do not have plans to create an Android version. -John
I recently downloaded both Snowchime and Color Chime. Both are very cool apps! I have both on my iPhone and run the audio into my iPad studio (iOS 9.3). These apps have tremendous potential for the world of electronic musicians but really needs Audiobus and/or IAA compatibility to create interest in that arena. If you find any interest in upgrading these apps to meet that criteria, please also consider a saving option so we can save the patterns we’ve created. I think these are excellent instruments and there is a huge world of untapped potential for them. Add Audiobus, IAA, and a save function, price it at $2.99 and I think you could sell a lot of these! Theres a user group on facebook called “iPad Musicians” that you could check out and perhaps float a trial balloon over to see if there is any interest. You obviouly have mine!
John, thank you for the kind words and feedback. I’m glad to hear that you are enjoying our apps!
NTHSynth is on hiatus at the moment, and I’m not sure if we will ever have the time to invest in Audiobus or IAA support. The absence of a “save” function was an intentional choice to encourage the creation of new musical patterns each time the app is used.
We’re hoping to carve out some time to continue our NTHSynth work in the not-too-distant future.
